Motives

Hey,

After some time I finally got the hang of that pen (explained in caricatures message). The idea is that I'm going to animate with a pen this year, because I'm starting to adore the visual style I'm creating with it.

This Gallery is called Motives. The reason behind it might be clear at first glance. I started to get inspired by two people one being Gustav Klimt, the other Nicolas De Crècy. Klimt is an expressionist painter from the early 20th century. De Crècy is a comic book artist inspired in one way or the other by Klimt. So after submerging myself into their work I started creating some of my own. I like these a lot, my wallet didn't because I bought waaaaay too much books.
The drawings have nothing to do with the movie short I'm creating at the moment.

Caricatures

After ages I finally made some time again to upload some new stuff. I'm currently in an overload of work, it happens, and I'll get through eventually. I'm working on a new movie, and I also made a promotional for Expo '58, that combined with a couple of other side projects and my time vanished like snow on a sunny day.

Ok this gallery is called Caricatures. These I drew while filtering myself away in a bar. Technique used her is a black pen from the brand bic. It was more like a study with that pen, then it was about the people. But I think some became reasonable drawings.
